For nearly two decades, RES has delivered energy systems engineered specifically for Alaska’s climate, geography, and operating conditions. From urban commercial facilities to remote rural infrastructure, we design systems that perform where reliability matters most.

Our Company's Story
Built by Alaskans For Alaska
Renewable Solutions (RES) was founded in Alaska in 2006 as Renewable Energy Systems of Alaska, delivering renewable energy solutions designed for Alaska’s unique environment. As demand grew, RES expanded with locations in Fairbanks in 2014 and the Mat-Su Valley in 2020 to better serve customers across the state.
Joining the Aleut Corporation
In 2025, RES joined The Aleut Corporation through Aleut Energy, strengthening its ability to support larger commercial, institutional, utility, and remote infrastructure projects while remaining rooted in local expertise. In 2026, the company adopted the name RES to reflect its expanded focus on integrated energy systems and technologies.
Today, RES continues to help Alaskans build reliable, resilient, and efficient energy solutions engineered for Alaska.
